Fatima bint Hazza Cultural Foundation was founded by Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan to promote intellectual, creative and cultural endeavors and support cultural interaction that empowers people. The foundation aims to enrich the cultural scene in Abu Dhabi and the UAE in particular and the region in general through organizing open to the public colloquia and seminars, exploring further means of art and music, introducing more awards for illustration and art, and collaborating on a local and international level with similar entities, while keeping children literature and education at its very heart. In her 17 years with GE, Mary has worked in several GE Capital roles. She designed and taught curriculum for the Risk Management Leadership Program. During the Risk assignment, Mary became one of GE Capital’s first Certified Master Black Belts. After risk management, Mary designed curriculum and taught six sigma and various organizational development classes for GECA CLOE (Center for Learning and Organizational Excellence). During the next six years he was utilized in a number of both domestic and international roles, including the acquisition and running of a UK based division. In 2006, John joined another company as VP of sales and marketing and revamped its channel and distribution strategies. Originally from New Zealand, John attended the Australia Royal Military College, Duntroon (West Point equivalent) where he graduated with a BA. ​
